As lawyers and law firms get ready to be more present in bricks and mortar offices, it is important to consider the emotional toll the pandemic has taken on all of us. And folks, it’s not over yet – while vaccinations are now widely available and restrictions have eased, the pandemic is not over. We daily hear/read stories about fully vaccinated people getting sick; caution is still warranted.
As we move back to something that approaches the old normal, managers, managing partners and those who supervise professional or paraprofessional staff need to be mindful that the last 14 or 15 months have resulted in new expectations, new work habits and new mindsets.
